The German Hornbach Group increased its net turnover by 3.8 per cent to EUR 6.4339 bn in the 2025/2026 financial year (ending 28 February 2026). It has thus met its overall forecast of 21 May 2025 based on preliminary figures. At EUR 264.7 mio, the company also achieved an adjusted EBIT in line with the 2024/25 financial year (EUR 269.5 mio), as expected.
In the fourth quarter of 2025/26 (1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026), however, earnings declined compared with the same quarter of the previous year. Net revenue rose by 3.8 per cent to EUR 1.2961 bn. Nevertheless, the increased costs could not be fully offset, according to a statement. Adjusted EBIT therefore fell by 14.0 per cent to EUR -34.8 mio. The company attributes this to seasonal factors, noting that the winter quarter is typically the weakest quarter of the financial year, making a negative contribution to Adjusted EBIT.
