Drill-free mounting

At this year‘s International Hardware Fair, Siro is presenting its adhesive- and drill-free fastening solution for acoustic panels: Paneofix.

Acoustic panels have become an integral part of modern interior design for many customers and are now firmly established in the DIY landscape. In order to further customise them with hooks or lighting options, the panels often have to be glued or damaged with a drill. Austrian manufacturer Siro wants to provide a solution with its new Paneofix mounting system. The system is efficient, reliable and gentle on surfaces, offering a practical alternative to conventional fastenings, the company promises. At the same time, it can be used to create creative, reversible installations that take into account both the design and the integrity of the surface.

The fastening set allows Siro coat hooks, hook rails and shelves to be securely fastened to acoustic panels. To do this, it is simply pushed between the slats of the panel and tightened so that the fixtures are immediately load-bearing and removed without leaving any residue, promises Siro. The simple installation is designed to save time when setting up and reconfiguring. It also allows for flexible placement. In a typical installation, the fixing insert is inserted behind the slat, turned into position with the supplied tool, and the hook or shelf is clipped onto the secured fixing.

For a refined finish, the solution supports integrated lighting. The Siro Bright Adite hook features an integrated channel for Siro Special Lighting LED strips in Mono, Duo and RGB. Alternatively, Wingflex LED strips can be routed between the slats to create subtle indirect illumination. Further information on lighting options is available online from Siro.

Beyond aesthetics, Paneofix is supposed to minimise refit times, lower labour costs and protect the substrate from irreversible damage. The reversible mounting concept supports circular-fit strategies where fittings must be reused or reconfigured frequently.

The manufacturer is confident that the system is suitable for exhibitors, interior designers, architects, stand builders and facility managers, as well as anyone who values modular, non-invasive fastenings. It is therefore ideal for rental properties, showrooms, retail environments and exhibition stands, where quick changes and residue-free dismantling are essential.

The Paneofix kit is part of the Siro range and will be presented at the International Hardware Fair 2026 in Cologne at the Siro stand E-089 in Hall 11.1.
