Lowe's, the second-largest home improvement retailer in the US and worldwide, closed its 2025/2026 financial year (ending 30 January 2026) with a 3.1 per cent increase in sales after a double-digit jump in sales in the fourth quarter. Annual sales amounted to USD 86.286 bn (EUR 73.108 bn).
In the fourth quarter, sales rose by 10.9 per cent compared to the same period last year, reaching USD 20.584 bn (EUR 17.442 bn). However, same-store growth was only 1.3 per cent. According to the company, the increase was driven by sales to professionals, online business and home services, among other factors.
Lowe's started the year with a decline, after which quarterly sales rose by only 1.6 per cent and 0.4 per cent compared to the respective quarters of the previous year.
