The International Trade Fair for Promotional Products and Imports (IAW) will take place for the 40th time from 24 to 26 March 2026. The industry gathering for the retail sector is expected to bring together 300 exhibitors and more than 5,000 visitors at the Cologne Exhibition Centre.

The organisers are aware that the fair is taking place at a time when the German retail sector is undergoing a readjustment. It is suffering from dwindling consumer confidence, financial fears among customers and declining consumer sentiment. While the wholesale sector is also struggling with economic uncertainties, e-commerce is continuing its rise and increasing sales figures and turnover. During this phase, the IAW trade fair aims to provide a meeting place for the industry, an opportunity for exchange and a chance for reorientation.

In addition to toys, drugstore items, food and electronic products, typical DIY store ranges and garden products will also be presented on the 30,000 m2 exhibition space. Another focus will be on e-commerce.
