Caroline van der Voort will become the new president of the international DIY manufacturers' association Hima (Home Improvement Manufacturers Association). She succeeds Reinhard Wolff, who previously headed the association under its former name Fediyma. Wolff is managing partner of the tool manufacturer Wolfcraft. The change at the top of the association will be officially completed at the general meeting on April 22, 2026.
Caroline van der Voort, a Belgian national, is co-owner of the family business Calodar, which operates in the sanitary sector. She has been working in the home improvement industry for more than 25 years.
Her election as president coincides with the association's 25th anniversary this year. One of her priorities will be to ensure that suppliers – especially small and medium-sized enterprises – have a strong voice, visibility, and influence, according to a press release…
