With just under three months to go before the Domotex flooring trade fair begins, more than 90 per cent of the space has been booked. We are pleased with the number of registrations, said Global Director Sonia Wedell-Castellano yesterday during a preview event. She added: "There are some great names among them." These include Akzo Nobel, Meffert and Gardinia. In addition, a lot will be different in 2026.

"The fair has reinvented itself," emphasised Wedell-Castellano. The organisers worked with manufacturers from the industry to consider how to position themselves for the future. The resulting vision includes six new product groups: ceramic tiles, wall and ceiling elements, paints and varnishes, wallpaper, outdoor coverings, and sun protection and shading. "The aim is to showcase the entire room on one platform," explained Wedell-Castellano.
