The Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, reported sales of USD 41.4 bn (EUR 35.7 bn) for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, an increase of USD 1.1 bn (EUR 949 mio), or 2.8 per cent from the third quarter of fiscal 2024. Total sales include approximately USD 900 mio from the recent acquisition of GMS Inc., which represents approximately eight weeks of sales in the quarter. Comparable sales for the third quarter of fiscal 2025 increased 0.2 per cent, and comparable sales in the U.S. increased 0.1 per cent.

The company also updated its fiscal 2025 guidance, a 52-week year compared to fiscal 2024, a 53-week year, to reflect its third quarter performance. The Home Depot expects a total sales growth of approximately 3.0 per cent, with GMS expected to contribute approximately USD 2.0 bn in incremental sales.
