The TiTE × IHT 2025 (Taiwan International Tools & Hardware Expo x International Hardware Expo Taiwan) trade fair attracted more exhibitors and visitors than last year. Around 22,000 visitors attended the event, which took place from 21 to 23 October 2025 at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Centre, around 10 per cent more than last year. The number of exhibitors rose by around a third to 400; they came from 15 countries and were represented by 800 stands. These figures were announced by the organisers, Lanza International and the Taiwan Hand Tool Manufacturers' Association (THMA), in their final report.
The theme of the trade fair was “Team Taiwan — Collaborating to Build New Resilience in Taiwan Manufacturing”. Visitors included professional buyers from key markets such as Japan, South Korea, Germany, the US, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia. In total, over 500 international buyers from 70 countries visited Taiwan specifically for procurement. During the event, more than 100 business matchmaking sessions were held.
Exhibitors presented AI automation, production tracking systems, and low-carbon processes, highlighting flexible manufacturing advantages in “small-batch variety, rapid prototyping, and stable delivery”. The “front-shop-back-factory” model enabled buyers to negotiate on-site and verify factory capabilities immediately, enhancing efficient linkages from exhibition floors to production sites and reaffirming Taiwan's core strength of ‘exhibition as origin, origin as brand’.
The “Global Hardware Innovation Summit” held during the event centred on three core themes: smart manufacturing, net-zero sustainability, and supply chain restructuring. It brought together domestic and international experts from industry, government, and academia to discuss how Taiwan's industries can adopt co-creation mindsets and innovative strategies to navigate global changes.
Next year, TiTE x IHT will take place from 20 to 22 October 2026, again at the Taichung International Convention and Exhibition Centre. Themed ‘From Manufacturing to Co-Creation,’ it will focus on joint R&D, collaborative design, and integrated supply, extending the Team Taiwan spirit to drive ongoing industry upgrades.
