Nishimura Joy is the newest Edra/Ghin member

The DIY store group Nishimura Joy from Japan is the newest member of the international DIY store association Edra/Ghin. The company was founded in 1937 as Nishimura Timber, and later launched its DIY retail business in 1975 – today, it operates 12 stores, including three Joypro specialty stores for trademen primarily in the Shikoku region of Japan.

Committed to community engagement, the company focuses on what it can uniquely offer, such as “Only Nishimura Joy can do it,” aiming to be an indispensable “Home Solution Centre” for customers. Its mission is to create a store where customers can solve their housing project through products, from “a single nail to an entire house.”

With the addition of Nishimura Joy, Edra/Ghin now has 232 home improvement retailers in 79 countries.
