Thai DIY chain HomePro reported a 5.79 per cent decline in sales in the second quarter. The quarterly report cites unusual weather conditions, with early rains in March and continuing throughout the quarter, as the reason for this decline. Lower temperatures led to weaker demand for cooling products. Other factors mentioned include US tariffs, weaker private consumption and a sluggish tourism sector. Quarterly sales amounted to 16.392 bn baht (THB, EUR 438.1 mio).

Since January, THB 33.939 bn (EUR 907.0 mio) has been accumulated by the middle of the year. This was 3.20 per cent less than in the first half of 2024.
