Acquisition of Al-Ko Gardentech by Ningbo Daye completed

German garden equipment manufacturer Al-Ko Gardentech has been acquired by Chinese manufacturer Ningbo Daye Garden Machinery. The acquisition took place in February but has only now been made public. It had already been announced in September 2024. Al-Ko Gardentech operates in the hobby gardening market under the Al-Ko brand and in the professional market under the Solo by Al-Ko brand. The long-established company is based in southern Germany. Most of its production takes place at its own factory in Styria, Austria.
