Ace Hardware in the US maintained same-store-sales in the first quarter. The figures refer to the nearly 3,900 retailers that report their cash register data to headquarters. The average ticket value rose by 1.1 per cent, while same-store transactions declined by 1.1 per cent. At the end of the quarter, 5,177 stores in the US belonged to the independent retailer cooperative, 112 more than a year earlier.
Ace Hardware Corporation, the headquarters of the US-based global cooperative, generated sales of USD 2.227 bn (EUR 1.980 bn), up 4.2 per cent on the same quarter last year.
