Sales at Mr Bricolage down 0.6 per cent in 2022


The DIY stores of the French franchise group Mr Bricolage achieved a turnover of EUR 2.3531 bn in 2022. This was 0.6 per cent less than the previous year, but 16.6 per cent more than in 2019. E-commerce activities, but excluding click & collect, contributed EUR 9.8 mio to total sales; an increase of 43.6 per cent.

The 846 stores in France at the end of the year had sales of EUR 2.0208 bn, down 1.6 per cent on 2021, with like-for-like sales down 3.1 per cent. The 74 stores outside France increased their sales by 5.4 per cent to EUR 322.5 mio (like-for-like plus 3.3 per cent). The group is represented in ten other countries: Andorra (1 store), Belgium (44), Bulgaria (12), Ivory Coast (1), Gabon (2), Macedonia (1), Madagascar (1), Morocco (9) and Mauritius (2).

The Group's markets operate under different brands. As at 1 January 2023, these were in France: 319 Mr. Bricolage stores, 106 Les Briconautes stores and 478 stores under own brands.
