In France, the Bricomarché, Bricorama and Brico Cash DIY stores achieved a turnover of EUR 3.318 bn last year, 2.8 per cent less than in the previous year. Among other things, the company had been exposed to price increases and difficulties in procurement, it said in a press release. The press release puts the turnover of the online shop bricoprive.com at EUR 117 mio.
On the other hand, Bricomarché has made gains abroad, growing by 4.2 per cent in Portugal and 9 per cent in Poland.
Like the others mentioned, this brand belongs to the Les Mousquetaires retail group. The total turnover of its DIY division is stated at EUR 4.395 bn, including the petrol station business.
