Siam Global net sales up 19.34 per cent in Q3

A rise in same store sales and revenues from six new stores buoyed Thai home improvement retailer Siam Global House Public Co Ltd in the third quarter. Siam Global's consolidated net sales for July to September 2021 stood at 7.684 bn Thai baht (THB, EUR 198.89 mio), up 19.34 per cent. For January to September 2021, these rose 26.7 per cent to THB 25.25 bn (EUR 654.23 mio).
Thailand sales made up the biggest share at THB 7.52 bn (EUR 194.8 mio) for the third quarter and THB 24.78 bn (EUR 642.1 mio) for the nine-month period. Cambodia, where Siam Global holds a 55 per cent stake in a subsidiary which operates one store, contributed THB 168.57 mio (EUR 4.37 mio) for the third quarter and THB 472.03 mio (EUR 12.12 mio) for the cumulative period, while Myanmar, where it holds an interest in Pro1 Global Home Center through Global House International Co. Ltd, added THB 228,000 (EUR 5.91 mio) for both periods.
The company did not include the contribution of Laotian company Souvanny, where Global House International holds a 33 per cent stake. The latter is 50 per cent owned by Siam Global.
As of end-September 2021, Siam Global operated 74 stores. It registered last September a procurement company in China called Guanxi Global House International Trade Company Ltd.
