Under its new president and CEO, Lotta Lyrå, Swedish retailer Clas Ohlson is conducting a strategic review entitled "100 more years" to mark the company's 100th anniversary in 2018. A new strategic plan and revised financial targets are expected to be put forward by May 2018 at the latest.
Lotta Lyrå has also reshuffled the group management team to some extent. Geir Hoff, former country manager for Norway, has a new role and will lead the strategic review as Director of New Markets and Expansion. The newly created role of Growth Chief Officer has yet to be filled. Peter Jelkeby, deputy CEO and most recently acting president and CEO, has left Clas Ohlson after almost ten years at the company.
