Home Depot grows by almost seven per cent

Home Depot has closed its financial year 2016/2017 (ending 29 January 2017) with an increase in sales of 6.9 per cent to USD 94.595 bn. The largest DIY store operator in the world reports that total company comparable store sales increased by 5.6 per cent. Comparable sales for U. S. stores were positive 6.2 per cent.
In the fourth quarter, growth lay slightly below the annual average. At USD 22.207 bn, sales surpassed the comparable previous year's value by 5.8 per cent.
