Home Pro plans to launch a new store format

The Thai chain of DIY stores Home Pro is planning a new store format and business model. Within this year still, the company wants to open a location under the new brand Home Pro Living, which, according to their quarterly report, will provide more choice and an enhanced product range to customers.
The DIY store operator recorded lower growth rates than usual in the third quarter. The increase of 7.24 per cent to THB 13.81628 bn is essentially due to the opening of a new Home Pro store (total number by the end of the quarter: 88 plus a store in Malaysia) and a Mega Home store (total number: nine). In the fourth quarter a total of two new Home Pro stores are to be added in Thailand and one in Malaysia, as well as up to two locations for the sales channel Mega Home.
Sales volumes in the first three quarters totalled THB 42.07414 bn, which is 9.52 per cent more than the same period last year.
