Home Depot increases sales by six per cent

Home Depot, the world's largest home improvement retailer, reports sales of USD 23.154 bn for the third quarter of fiscal year 2016 (ending 30 October), a 6.1 per cent increase from the third quarter of fiscal year 2015. Comparable store sales were positive 5.5 per cent, and comparable sales for US stores were positive 5.9 per cent.
Overall, growth rates were even higher in the first three quarters. In these nine months sales increased by 7.2 per cent to USD 72 388 bn.
