Clas Ohlson sales decreased in July

Sales of the Swedish company Clas Ohlson decreased by one per cent in July to MSEK 635 (641). In local currencies, sales increased by one per cent. Sales in July were negatively affected by a calendar effect of about three percentage points, due to fewer trading days compared with the previous year. Compared with the same month in the previous year, the net store portfolio was expanded by eight stores. At the end of the period, the total number of stores was 207.Total sales during the first three months of the fiscal year (May to July 2016) amounted to MSEK 1,763 (1,770). In local currencies, sales increased by two per cent. The first quarter interim report 2016/17 will be published at 07:00 CET on Wednesday 7 September 2016. The report will be presented on the same day at 08:30 CET in Clas Ohlson's store at Drottninggatan 53 in Stockholm, Sweden.
