The Irish Grafton Group has reported an increase in sales of 6,4 per cent (in constant currency) for its retailing business. The increase of 10.0 per cent in the first quarter was twice as high as the 4.2 per cent in the second quarter. The recovery in retail sales in Ireland gathered pace in 2015 and continued into the half year, supported by momentum in consumer spending that was reflected in strong revenue growth in the Woodies DIY business, according to the group's half-yearly report.
