For the first time the organiser has introduced a 'Corporate Buyer Programme'. International visitors from both emerging and developed markets with high annual procurement on hardware sales are eligible for this subsidy programme. The conditions are that companies from emerging countries must have had a minimum annual sales revenue of USD 0.1 mio within the last three years, while companies from developed countries are required to have minimum annual sales revenue of USD 0.3 mio.
Benefits under this programme include an airfare subsidy of up to USD 1 000 for buyers coming from the USA or Europe, and USD 500 for buyers flying from Asia.
Complimentary business matching services are also open to all buyers to support their search for products and the most suitable manufacturers. Those seeking the latest market insights can take part in industry forums. Alisdair Gray, director of the European DIY Retail Association Edra, will present "The Global Home Improvement Industry in 2016" forum.
