The Danish chain of DIY stores Jem & Fix wants to open around 20 to 25 new stores by the year 2020. A third of the store portfolios are to be renovated by then. The company currently operates 110 branches in Denmark and 36 stores Sweden. Their target is 125 Danish locations.
Last year Jem & Fix made DKK 1.9975 bn in sales. This is an increase of 7.7 per cent. The financial year 2016 will be even better than 2015, according to CEO Svend Pedersen in an interview with the newspaper Jyllands-Posten and their online service finans.dk.
