400 exhibitors are once again expected in Taichung in October

The event organiser Kaigo expects more than 28 000 trade visitors (2015: nearly 27 000) at the next Taiwan Hardware Show (THS) from 12 to 14 October 2016. Around 400 exhibitors will showcase their products. The eight product categories are: tools and accessories, locks and fittings, fasteners and fittings, building supplies, garden and outdoor equipment, automotive supplies and accessories, machines and plant equipment, and safety equipment and products. THS will be augmented with concurrent seminars and industry conferences fronted by notable international industry experts and local trade authorities.
The trade fair once again takes place in Taichung. Approximately 70 per cent of the Taiwanese hand tool producers are located in this region.
Taiwan is recognized as the world's second largest exporting country for hand tools. In 2014, the country's hardware industry reached an output value of USD 34 bn and is expected to increase further with high positive growth rates in the coming years.
