The Italian pipe manufacturer Fitt has opened an affiliated company in China. Fitt Trading Shanghai was founded as a 100 per cent subsidiary of the company on 1st January 2016, with the head office in Ningbo in the greater Shanghai area. The branch will be particularly dedicated to the distribution of technical and industrial hoses from the Italian manufacturer.
The opening is part of a structured programme, whereby Fitt wants to enter new foreign markets. For the company it is particularly important to have direct presence in the respective areas, to enable personal dialogue in the language of their clients, share their mentality and recognise their needs.
Fitt sees growth possibilities particularly in the so-called BRIC countries. "Emerging countries represent a primary objective for the imminent future of our company", commented CEO Alessandro Mezzalira. "China in particular has opened up a change of direction, aimed increasingly at quality and advanced solution for the domestic market."
To date, Fitt has been present in Europe with its own branches. In addition, there are partnerships with companies in the USA, South Africa, Australia and Japan.
