Home Depot sales continue to grow in the third quarter

Home Depot is finishing the year strongly as its sales growth accelerates. The US DIY store operator and global market leader reported sales of USD 21.819 bn in the third quarter (ended 1 November 2015) of fiscal 2015/2016, an increase of 6.4 per cent compared with the third quarter of the previous year. In like-for-like terms, the chain's highest growth was in the domestic market at 7.3 per cent as compared with 5.1 per cent overall. Home Depot's sales in the first nine months amounted to USD 67.539 bn, 5.5 per cent more than in the same period last year.
