The well-established online service for the worldwide DIY and garden sector now appears with a more modern web layout. To coincide with the publication of issue 4/2015 of the trade magazine DIY International, the German-based Dähne Verlag has completely revamped and relaunched its Internet service for the international DIY and garden sector. As a result, DIYglobal.com has now become DIYinternational.com. Following this relaunch, the service, which has also appeared in German hitherto, is being switched entirely to English.The new name also reflects a closer link between the online service and the DIY International trade magazine, and so the online service includes texts that are followed up in more detail in the magazine. It is analogous to the print edition under the menu item "Industry" and divided into the categories "Distribution", "Suppliers", "Garden" and "Events". Selected articles from the current issue are available to premium users a few days prior to the respective publication date.Core element statisticsIn addition, premium users have access to comprehensive figures for the global DIY retail scene under the menu item "Statistics". The core element is a database containing information on nearly 400 DIY chains in more than 70 countries around the world. This includes, among other things, key figures such as the number of locations and the sales areas.Linked to this is data from the respective parent companies. The user can thus research the activities of internationally active retail groups over national borders.The central feature of DIYinternational.com will continue to be the news service, which keeps readers up to date with brief daily news items from the international DIY and garden sector.
