Ambient is insolvent

The Romanian DIY operator and building materials merchant Ambient has filed for bankruptcy. According to a press release, the objective of this procedure is to restructure the company. The company, founded in 1993, operated 14 sales locations in Romania with a total sales area of almost 34 000 m² up until the beginning of the year. At the moment, only eleven stores are listed. The customers are both end users as well as professionals.
