Massbuild joins Ghin

The Global Home Improvement Network (Ghin) has a new member in South Africa. The company Massbuild has joined the global DIY retail association. Massbuild operates 100 stores (2014) mostly in South Africa, but also in Botswana and Mozambique. The company, which operates complimentary brands such as Builders Warehouse (large-scale DIY stores), Builders Express, Builders Superstore and Builders Trade Depot (building material outlet), reports its turnover for 2014 as ZAR 10.823 bn. Massbuild is part of Massmart Holdings, which the US retail giant Walmart has been involved with since 2010.
