After a slow start to the year, the 326 German Hagebau stores achieved a return on net sales of € 979.2 mio in the first six months, a two per cent increase compared to the same period last year. The 42 Hagebau stores in Austria increased their external sales by 4.8 per cent to € 104.0 mio.
However, the centrally accounted turnover of the German specialist trade and DIY corporation Hagebau declined from January to June by 1.9 per cent to € 2.81bn, in comparison to the previous year. The turnover that Hagebau’s headquarters together with their associates in the building materials, wood and tile trades made, declined by 2.6 per cent to € 1.85 bn.
