New head of B&Q UK & Ireland

B&Q in Great Britain and Ireland is to get a new man at the helm. The Dane Michael Loeve (41) will assume this role in September. He is currently group retail director of Coop Danmark, the leading Danish retail group with around 1 200 stores, having previously served as managing director at Coop subsidiary Super-Brugsen. At B&Q he succeeds Kevin O’Byrne, who left the company in May.
