GHIN becomes an association

The Global Home Improvement Network (GHIN) founded by the European DIY Retail Association (EDRA) in January 2010, which was primarily set up as a global, informal platform for the DIY trade, was officially established as an association the day before the 3rd Global DIY Summit in London. In its original form, 17 trading companies outside of the EU belonged to GHIN: four from Russia, three from the USA, two each from Australia, Chile and Japan as well as one each from Peru, South Africa, Turkey and Ukraine.
