The Swedish DIY and home interiors company Clas Ohlson has announced the first three stores in its expansion into Germany. All three are to open in Hamburg from the summer of 2016 onwards. The biggest store, with a retail area of approx. 1 800 m², will open in summer 2016 in the city centre on Jungfernstieg. The other two stores, each covering 1 100 m², are to open next autumn in Altona and in Hamburg’s biggest shopping centre Alstertal. Klas Balkow (photo), CEO of Clas Ohlson, believes that his company has created the “optimum conditions for a good start in Germany”.
