The Danish group grows from February to April on a comparable retail area too

The Danish DT Group increased its sales in the third quarter (February to April) of its fiscal 2014/2015 by eleven per cent compared with the previous year to € 592 mio. The increase on a comparable retail area was reported to be nine per cent. Market conditions in the Scandinavian countries had developed satisfactorily apart from in Finland, according to a press release.
The DT Group is part of the British Wolseley Group and runs the Silvan DIY chain and the builders merchant chain Stark in Denmark, along with the builders merchant Neumann in Norway and Beijer Byggmaterial in Sweden. It also has Stark building materials outlets in Finland. Its Finnish subsidiary Starkki acquired its rival Puukeskus in February 2014 and switched both distribution lines to the common brand name Stark.
