Praktiker Romania grows again

According to reports from numerous media in Romania, Praktiker Romania recorded a turnover increase of 12.4 per cent in the first quarter of 2015 compared to the previous year’s period. The company closed the whole year with a turnover growth of 3.2 per cent. This was the first year with an increase after four years of revenue losses.
The media reports also state that the number of customers increased by 8.8 per cent in the first quarter. Additionally, the average sales transactions increased by two per cent.
The Romanian Praktiker stores were taken over by Search Chemicals S. R. L. after the German parent company went bankrupt and continue to operate using the Praktiker brand name.
