German company group acquires 75 per cent of the Dutch organisation

The German company group EK-Servicegroup is acquiring a 75 per cent share in the Dutch multi-sector retail service organisation Euretco. The merged group has sites in four countries, total annual sales of around € 2.2 bn and 4 100 medium-sized retailers affiliated to it. As well as its operations in sectors such as sport and fashion, Euretco has been involved in the DIY store sector since last year following its acquisition of the DGN Group with the Hubo, Multimate and Fixet distribution channels.
EK will make further advances abroad, as indicated by a comment by board chairman Franz-Josef Hasebrink: “By acquiring this holding we create a unique European entrepreneurial platform for owner-managed, medium-sized companies, which have not yet reached the culmination of their international development.”
