British market is growing again

DIY up three per cent in 2014, gardening up ten per cent

Overall sales in the British DIY market increased by three per cent in 2014, while the garden market grew by ten per cent, according to figures from the market research company GfK.
E-commerce is an important distribution channel in the British market. In December 2014 online sales reached a new high, accounting for a share of 25 per cent of consumer durables. The growth in online sales of power tools was nearly four times as great as in high street stores.
