The Swedish retail chain Clas Ohlson has reported an increase in sales of six per cent to SEK 2.375 bn in the third quarter and of eight per cent to SEK 5.831 bn in the first three quarters (May 2014 to January 2015). In the fiscal year as a whole, the company will have opened 13 new stores, with another 10 to 15 new openings to follow in fiscal 2015/2016. These are to be in Great Britain and the Gulf region among other locations. The intention to enter the German market that was announced some time ago has still not been realised. The company is currently looking for a suitable site in northern Germany, according to the latest quarterly report.
