Asia-Pacific Sourcing and promotional products show IAW attract more visitors

Asia-Pacific Sourcing recorded an increase of more than 30 per cent in visitors to around 6 600. The number of exhibitors at the show rose by over five per cent compared with the last edition in 2013 to 656. Asian products for the home, garden and leisure were exhibited on an area of more than 24 000 m² over three days. “The strategic partnership with the IAW fair has contributed to this success and shows that both fairs overlap considerably with regard to visitors,” said venue director Katharina C. Hamma when evaluating the outcome.
This year the International Trade Fair for Retail Promotions and Imports (IAW) was staged concurrently with Asia-Pacific Sourcing and immediately adjacent to it. This event also saw an increase in visitor numbers of nearly five per cent to 9 256. 322 exhibitors were in attendance on an exhibition area of roughly 28 000 m², spread over two halls.
For Ulrich Zimmermann, CEO of the organiser Nordwestdeutsche Messegesellschaft, cooperation with Asia-Pacific Sourcing “enriched our fair in two respects. In addition to the wide range of products offered at the IAW, our visitors were able to get to know more manufacturers and marketing companies from Asia. At the same time, our exhibitors benefited from the additional flow of visitors from Asia-Pacific Sourcing. In summary, I feel it was a successful premiere with great synergy effects,” said Zimmermann.
