At this year’s Totally DIY/Totally Tools, which took place in the middle of February, 150 exhibitors with 111 stands (2014: 102 stands) presented their products and services. Although the organisers didn’t comment on the number of visitors, these showed the industry a clear endorsement, according to the closing report. The biggest DIY chains, the hardware and garden centre industries sent along their buyers to represent their companies.
For the first time, the supporting programme had an Innovation Zone from the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA). Additionally, there was an evening event with a New Product Showcase, sponsored by the market research and consultancy company Insight DIY, with an award ceremony for the Best New Products, as well as for the DIY Week Awards.
