Akí is going to town

The trade journal Ferretería y Bricolage reports on their website that the Spanish DIY chain Akí is planning to open local neighbourhood stores in inner cities. The journal quotes Pedro Reoyo during the DIY Congress organised by the AECOC in Madrid, who announced that the first store should open in an inner city location before the summer 2015. According to the report from Ferretería y Bricolage, the Adeo sales brand Leroy Merlin is also looking for possible city locations in Spain.
