Record visitors at BAU

BAU trade fair in Munich broke through the 250 000 visitor barrier for the first time in its 50 year history. On the six trade fair days, which were fully-booked well in advance, 251 200 people attended, that’s over 16 000 more than in 2013. Of course more visitors came from Germany, but the most significant increase was thanks to the international guests. Around 72 000 visitors came from abroad, that corresponds to a 20 per cent increase. The trade fair CEO, Dr. Reinhard Pfeiffer: “With these new record figures, BAU has now clearly established itself as the leading fair outside of the EU. That is shown in the strong visitor increase from countries such as Turkey, China or Saudi Arabia.” The next BAU takes place from 16 to 21 January 2017 on the exhibition grounds of the Munich Trade Fair.
