Byggmax grows by ten per cent

The Swedish Byggmax chain announced a 10.3 per cent growth on a net turnover of SEK 3.5472 bn for 2014. On a like-for-like basis the growth was 3.8 per cent. In the fourth quarter the turnover grew by 9.8 per cent and on a like-for-like basis by 3.7 per cent.
Bygmaxx opened seven new stores last year, of which four were in Sweden, two in Norway and one in Finland. Between 7 and 13 new store openings are planned for 2015. Additionally, 35 stores were redesigned in the new Byggmax 2.0 store concept and between 20 and 30 more are to follow in the spring.
