No comment on Hagebau in Spain

The German building material and DIY cooperation Hagebau has neither denied nor confirmed the reports about entering the Spanish market. The Spanish trade journal Ferretería y Bricolaje had reported in its online service, that the two Spanish trade cooperations Coferdroza and Coarco have become shareholders of Hagebau. When questioned, the cooperation stated that Hagebau, in general, does not comment on market rumours.
Rumours of a commitment of Hagebau in Spain were sparked back in spring, when representatives of the German group attended an in-house exhibition by Profer, a cooperation founded by Coferdroza and Coarca, in Tenerife. Here, according to the trade press, there was talk of Profer possibly joining the international purchasing alliance Arena.
