Expansion plans for the Gulf region, Germany and Great Britain

The Swedish retail company Clas Ohlson finished the first half-year (May to October) of its current financial year 2014/2015 with a sales increase of nine per cent. Currency adjusted, it was seven per cent more. The turnover amounted to SEK 3.457 bn. The number of stores has increased by eleven to 192.
Apart from the already publicised expansion plans in the Gulf region and in Germany, where two new stores are to be opened at the beginning of 2015 in the north of the country, more stores are also planned for Great Britain. Clas Ohlson is planning to establish smaller stores near London, according to the half-yearly report.
