The next biggest DIY store in the world

Last Saturday the 6 December, the Ukrainian DIY operator Epicentr K opened the biggest DIY store in the world in the capital city Kiev. According to information provided by the company, the sales area of this new store is 105 000 m². As the opening day was also the Armed Forces Day, the company donated its first sales million – in US dollar terms – to the army.
With the opening in Kiev, Epicentr breaks its own record. As the Ukrainian leader opened the, then biggest DIY store in the world, back in December 2009. At that time, the sales area was given at 56 000 m².
