Above all, the fair attracted significantly more foreign visitors
This year’s Taiwan Hardware Show saw a marked increase in the number of visitors. The three-day event at the end of October attracted 25 589 visitors, 7.3 per cent up on last year. Around 350 companies, roughly 16 per cent more than last year, presented their products and services on an exhibition area measuring 12 571 m².
The organiser Kaigo appeared especially pleased with the above-average twelve per cent increase in the number of foreign visitors to 3 658. Since the fair moved in 2013 to Taichung, the centre of the Taiwanese hardware industry, many visitors have taken advantage of the tours offered in the accompanying programme of events to manufacturing companies in the Taichung area. The service offered by the organiser of arranging appointments during the show was also reported to be well utilised.
