Home Depot drives online business

Home Depot recorded a strong growth in its online sales. In the second quarter (end: 3 August) of the current business year the DIY market leader made 4.2 per cent of its total sales over the Internet, as reported by the magazine Internet Retailer. That was USD 1.00 bn, 38 per cent more than in the same period last year. In the first half year the online sales add up to USD 1.83 bn; that is an increase of 40.0 per cent compared to the same period last year.
