New man at the top for global market leader

A change is imminent in the operational management of global DIY market leader Home Depot. On 1 November 2014, Craig Menear will assume the post of CEO and president. Frank Blake, who has been with the company since 2002 and has held the appointments of chairman and CEO since 2007, remains as chairman.The new man at the top of Home Depot has been with the company for 34 years and is currently president of U.S. retail.
