Rona becomes Ace licence holder

The Rona Group is to become a master licence holder of the US cooperative Ace Hardware in Canada. The Canadian DIY store and building materials cooperative will gain long-term use of the Ace brand, enabling it to access Ace’s brands, retail concepts and web portals. Rona will also be given access to Ace’s product procurement programme, including direct procurement from China.Rona has its own DIY stores as well as acting as a franchisor and purchasing association in the Canadian market. The group operates the distribution channels Rona Home & Garden, Rona L'entrepôt, Rona proximity stores, Réno-Dépôt and builders merchants for trade customers.
